The government pissed on us, and the media tells us it’s raining. That’s the only way to describe the last few years, where the government has repeatedly failed us, and the media has been complicit in their deception.
We’ve seen this time and time again. The government lies to us about the reasons for going to war, the media parrots those lies, and the public is left to pay the price. We’ve seen this with the Iraq War, the Afghanistan War, and the Vietnam War, to name a few.

The government has also failed to protect us from economic crises, environmental disasters, and public health emergencies. And once again, the media has been complicit in their failure. They’ve failed to hold the government accountable for their mistakes. They’ve given a platform to those who spread misinformation and propaganda. And they’ve failed to inform the public about the real issues facing our country.
The government has failed us in many ways. They have failed to protect us from economic crises, environmental disasters, and public health emergencies. They have also failed to address the issue of income inequality, which is a growing problem in our country. They have failed to protect our civil liberties, which are under attack from the Patriot Act and other laws that have been passed in the name of security. And they have failed to address the issue of climate change, which is the most pressing issue facing our planet.
